She / Her · UX Designer

Hi, I'm Sophia — a designer who moves between visual craft and how people actually use things.

I started in graphic design, obsessed with how type, color, and composition make people feel something. But I kept wanting to know what happened after the poster — how people actually used the things I made, where they got stuck, and what made a product feel effortless.

That question pulled me into human–computer interaction. At the University of Michigan I learned to pair visual craft with research, testing ideas against real behavior instead of taste alone.

Since then I've designed across telemedicine, e-commerce, and AI — from Healthloop, a chronic-care app I initiated during the pandemic, to AI video tools at Vizard today. What I care about most is turning fuzzy, early-stage ideas into experiences people genuinely understand and want to use.

Design is how I think. Building is how I prove it.
